"When we first saw Monique's work there was an immediate magnetic draw to the paintings.  Beautiful, intricate, fascinating.  Each painting is unmistakably her own, and it's a delight to watch her work evolve over time.  It feels like she brings something through from elsewhere, in some kind of shamanic working.

 

  We are so glad to own a couple of her original pieces.  We display them at our business, where we carefully curate every sensory input for our visitors.  Time fades away when you sit before them, voyaging through the endless detail.  Each square centimetre could be enlarged to the size of the original, and be as rich a piece as the whole.  

Monique is a pioneer of technique and experimentation with paint.  She has taken a forensic approach and performed huge amounts of testing and research to develop her methods.  The stunning results she achieves are testament to the deep understanding of her materials that she has built over the years.

Rather than guarding this hard-won knowledge, she has instead chosen to effectively found a school to share the fruits of her research with others, and to teach them how to use these techniques to express themselves.  Like all successful artists she is also skilled in business, and she teaches people how to sell their own creations.  She empowers her fellow artists to bring more beauty into the world, and shows them them how to make a living from doing what they love.
